I need to update more often, quit slacking alex, quit slacking. I've just finished some forms, and i have some emotive music playing in the background now, so I'm in the mood for some blogging.
Things that happened to me this week.
Monday - Wednesday
Attended a Christian camp called Camp Praxis, which carried the theme of evangelism. As a Christian consigned with the duty to share the Good News, I regretfully admit that I haven't been doing what God has called us to do. Throughout the camp, the book of Acts was preached and the manner in which the Gospel was spread in that day and age, presented. We have been commanded by God to spread His Word, but more often than not, we lack the compassion and compulsion to preach God's message to the unbelieving. Where's our sense of urgency? asldf.
Anyway, camp was pretty fun.
1. my team lost a challenge so we were made to wash the toilets. greatttt. Mind you the toilets were just buckets covered with a frigging big tarp so whoever wanted to pee would have to do whatever he needed to do in the bucket under the tarp. The conventional toilets could not be used because we were supposed to be back in the 1980s when people weren't as privileged as us technologically - i.e computers, handphones and, apparently toilets loooooooool. I can't believe people actually peed in it. Weak bladdered people who can't hold their pee make life difficult for noobs like me who lose camp challenges aslkajdjadf. But i'm just glad and relieved that noone took a crap in it.
2. I chose not to pack my sleeping bag in, thinking i would get the couch by eliciting some sympathy but the couch got koped so I ended up sleeping on the floor. Sleeping on the floor kinda bites, so I stole my friend's sleeping bag on the second day.
3. Went about Orchard road for a second round of games and ended up losing again. WOW. But it's all good because we didn't have any toilets to clean this time.
I'm having an awesome conversation with actro now. Ive never chatted with a guy for so long before. A sense of gayness belies the friendly banter but LOL, we are so totally straight.
Youth camp is coming, so is Christmas. I can't wait! Heartfelt conversations, ghost stories, nipple twisters. See you when I see you!
